Business Development Manager

Mechanical Access Company is a market leader in customer service and value-added service in the hiring of EWP/ Access Equipment with branches in Wellington and Auckland.

We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to join our Auckland team, based in Mt Roskill.

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing and managing key customers whilst developing new clients across the Auckland region.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that will require someone who is confident, personable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • +3 years of sales and account management experience
  • Plenty of competitive drive and resilience to grow and achieve sales targets
  • Effective communication/relationship building skills
  • Proven flair and competence in both cold calling new customers and managing our existing clients
  • Industry background or knowledge of Access/EWP machines would be an advantage
  • A clean driver's license, a satisfactory police check, and pre-employment drug test
  • A great attitude, sense of humour and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for someone who is both capable and motivated to take their career in sales to the next level. This role will report to the Managing Director.

MAC will offer a remuneration package with a transparent commission structure, which will reflect your success, your ability to drive sales autonomously and work effectively with our transport and operations team
